Tyler, the Creator: Das neue Album „IGOR“ ist da!

Zwei Jahre nach „Flower Boy“ kehrt Tyler, the Creator mit seinem fünften Album „IGOR“ zurück.

Tyler, the Creator veröffentlicht sein neues Album, „Igor“. Es ist Tylers fünftes Album und der Nachfolger seines 2017er Albums „Flower Boy“.

Der Veröffentlichung gingen einige kurze Auszüge voraus, zuletzt der Teaser „a boy is a gun*“.

„Igor“ enthält Kollaborationen mit so illustren Gästen wie Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Al Green und dem japanischen City-Pop-Pionier Tatsuro Yamashita. Das Album vertieft stilistisch die Neo-Soul-Spuren, die Tyler, the Creator auf „Flower Boy“ gelegt hat.

In einem begleitenden Tweet riet Tyler „Just go, jump into it. I believe the first listen works best all the way through, no skips. Front to back. No distractions either“. Das ist schwierig, wenn schon die Credits so viel Recherche-Material hergeben, aber wir wollen uns erst mal zurückhalten. Es kommt dann bestimmt bald noch mehr.
